  • 4 slices of bread.
For the batter:
  • 1-cup bengal gram flour
  • 2 tbsp semolina
  • 1-cup curds
  • 3 – 4 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp carom seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 50 gms coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp sea same seeds
  • Salt to taste
  1. Combine all the ingredients for the batter well with water to make a free flowing batter.
  2. Dip one bread slice at a time, such that the batter gets applied all over well.
  3. Place the bread slice over a hot griddle. Apply little oil and cook on both the sides till done.
  4. Serve immediately with desired sauces.
